Phonics Play

This session was planned for activities based on Phonics and reading. Mommies a little worried though if Buddies will enjoy

As always Buddies Rocked !!!!!

The session starts with recap of previous session counting 1 to 10 backwards, rainbow............ Buddies conduct small sessions by teaching us different things that starts from E & F. They do awesome job. Time for learning to write "E"
The host buddy is not so happy to write however he did finish writing.

 

This was followed by video on phonics song and few more activity work sheets. It was amazing to see they could ready CAT, HAT, MAT, BAT, RAT all by themselves through phonics :)

they did recognize the starting sound of different things and completed worksheet :)

The session was getting a little boring before the energy drop we played the memory game. they like it :)

We arrange few things and asked them to see it for a while then we got back with mommies and they would tell their mommy what they saw. there was 9 things and one could remember 6 another 7. great going :)

It was snack time Buddies enjoyed Cauliflower parata in teddy bear & elephant shapes :)

Final activity for the session was cutting paper in square shape and and pasting on a picture. this was fun!!!

Buddies Club is one month old

Celebration time :)

All buddies enjoyed celebration day with a recap of counting 1 to 10 backwards, a little of alphabets and phonics, coloring their favorite pictures, drawing rainbow. Understanding rainbow was fun and making a craft using lovely colors was more fun. We all did a colorful rainbow door name hangers for our rooms. Enjoyed yummy potluck, thanks to all mommies. All Some gifts too..... Awesome day
We love Buddies Club & miss it so much other than Tuesday & Friday. Can we have it everyday :)

 

Recycle & Reuse

All excited to know what recycle is all about!
The session starts with sweets. Buddies are so excited to conduct small sessions each all by themselves. so here they go teaching all about things that start with alphabets A & B. Good job Buddies you are so confident in teaching all of us.

This is followed by understanding Recycle. When asked what is recycle the answers were we must put paper, bottle in different bins. To start with this was a great information for the lttlel brains that are 3.5 years old. Although they didn't understand completely the science of recycle, they did enjoy playing the recycle  game by putting all correct recycling things in the correct bins. Appreciate and love Buddies  spongy brain, super quick  absorption and assimilation and efficiency in performance of what they learn.

   Time now for reuse activity. we used empty yogurt box, colored cello-tapes. Buddies made a pencil stand and a tooth brush stand. The cutest thing is they made a pattern of different cello-tapes :)

Mommies and Buddies did another activity of assembling and making a photo frame from recycled material. It was a bit boring for Buddies as mommies were trying to understand and assemble. once we finished they did like it.

The host buddy helps in cleaning up after the session. thanks to the little hands and beautiful thought of helping each other.

Cup Cake & Chicken Life Cycle

This has been the most busiest and most enjoyable session of buddies club. The session stared with sweet followed by reinforcement of learning from last sessions. Learning about chicken life cycle.

Egg -> Hatching of Egg -> Chick -> Chicken

They learn the ingredients for baking cup cake and excited to bake it. Earlier the host buddy kept everything ready :)

The first preparation was to line the paper cups and grease it with butter using brush. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Holding egg in hand and feeling it when they shake it little was awesome. happy to break the egg mix milk, vanilla essence, melted butter and beat together was so much fun.they mixed flour, baking powder,sugar & salt. then made a big well in the flour mix and added the egg mixture. Mix Mix Mix :)

Ready to put the cup cake mixture in the tray and put lots of choco chip and banana slices.

Its finally ready to bake, here goes my try in the hot oven :) 15 mins to go for yummy yummy cup cake.

How much time will it take? We are loving the way cup cakes are raising

So buddies why dont you do a craft by the time you cake is ready and cools down :)
They were given few craft paper and asked them to do Chicken life cycle. Surprisingly they did a great job. below is what they did :)

the host Buddy conducts a small session on Opposites :) Great job. Love the confidence these little ones have :)
