Reopen Session with a Birthday Party

Buddies Club was on a break for a month. I planned for small activity followed by birthday party of Akshaya :)
This was the first time toddlers and big kids were working together. Kids traced some worksheet and then cut and pasted few shapes into a picture. The most challenging work was cutting a circle. kids were teamed up and they would help each other in their work. Awesome job.
The toddlers were busy playing. This session celebrated Akshaya 2nd birthday all enjoyed so much. love the lovely smiles :)

All By Myself

This session was more of doing things by themselves. All Buddies made butterfly using paper, straw, an ice cream stick, googly eyes. they cut paste and designed their butterfly.

Learning Shapes, Ascending & Decending Order And Fun Making Photoframe

I introduced pentagon and hexagon and big to small & small to big. The little spongy brains absorb so fast that they can sort things size wise, length wise..... they are perfect in Ascending & Descending order :)

Their efficient neat work can been seen on the photo frames they made using ice cream sticks. Although boys play a little while doing their work, Hifza the little princess is always seriously finishing her work.

Pencil Grip & Patterns

The session was planned to get a grip on pencil and learn to draw some patterns like
Checks,
Swirls,
Vertical lines,
Horizontal lines,
Curves,
Waves and
Circles
All Buddies work together so they love writing when together and they do it really faster than when they do it alone :)
